
NBA D-League Daily Developments - March 15, 2009

SATURDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Saturday's games:
- Will Conroy paced the Thunderbirds with 27 points and dished eight assists to lead six Albuquerque players in double digit scoring. Antoine Agudio tallied 23 points while Jasper Johnson and Antonio Meeking scored 17 and 16, respectively, both finishing one rebound shy of a double-double.
- Eddie Gill and Trey Gilder led the 14ers, scoring 19 points apiece, Gilder also notching 12 rebounds and Gill adding eight assists. John Lucas contributed 17 points for Colorado, while Sonny Weems, on assignment from Denver, and Josh Davis each added 13 points.
- The Vipers were led by Trent Strickland who recorded 24 points and 10 rebounds. Jawad Williams added 22 points for the Vipers, while Jared Jordan tallied a double-double, scoring 15 points and dishing out 13 assists. Quin Humphrey dropped in 12 points, in the win.
- Lance Allred scored 27 points and grabbed12 rebounds for the Stampede. In addition to Allred's double-double, the Stampede had three players finish with double-doubles. Toronto assignee, Nathan Jawai, scored 14 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, Brent Petway scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds to go with six blocked shots, and Kevin Burleson added 10 points and dished out 10 assists.
- Ronald Dupree and Utah Jazz assignee Morris Almond combined for 49 points to help lift the Utah Flash to a 107-101victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Almond dropped in a game-high 26 points, while Dupree contributed 23 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Kevin Kruger notched 10 points and six assists in the winning effort. Also on assignment from the Utah Jazz, Kyrylo Fesenko finished with 18 points.
- Sean Singletary, on assignment from the Charlotte Bobcats, scored 16 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter for Sioux Falls. Frank Williams also chipped in 23 points, while Bobby Jones knocked down 14 off the Skyforce bench.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
16 players with D-League experience competed in five NBA games last night, four as starters.
- Aaron Brooks scored 18 points as a starter for the Rockets.
- Steve Novak, of the Los Angeles Clippers, scored 17 off the bench in 30 minutes of play.
