NAZ Hosts Frisco in Week 14 Matchup

Northern Arizona Wranglers News Release
The Northern Arizona Wranglers will return home to Pinnacle Bank Field at the Findlay Toyota Center, on Saturday evening, to take on a very tough Frisco Fighters squad.
The Wranglers currently hold a 6-5 record on the 2023 season, and they're home for the first of three consecutive games. The visiting team for this Saturday evening's showdown - the Fighters - currently sit atop the Indoor Football League's Eastern Conference standings, with a 9-2 record on the season. With that 9-2 mark, the Fighters also have the league's best record. Frisco started the season off on fire, winning their first seven games of the year. The Fighters have taken a step back in the last four weeks, going 2-2 since their 7-0 tear. Both Fighters losses in the last four weeks have come on the road, which trends well for the Wranglers.
The Wranglers got a much-needed victory on the road last weekend, defeating the San Diego Strike Force by a score of 38-36. The Wranglers offense continued their success from their toe-to-toe loss with the Arizona Rattlers just two weeks ago. Quarterback Garett Kettle tallied over 200 total yards and four total touchdowns against the Strike Force. The Wranglers defense forced two turnovers in San Diego, both were interceptions by defensive back Kishawn Walker. The Wranglers number one ranked defense will meet the IFL's top ranked scoring offense this week. The Wranglers will need a complete game in all three phases of the game on Saturday evening to get a victory.
This matchup will be just the second time that these two teams have faced off. The Fighters defeated the Wranglers during their only meeting back in 2021. The Wranglers currently hold the Western Conference's fourth and final seed for the 2023 Indoor Football League playoffs. The Wranglers need to continue to win to keep their playoff positioning, and they're ready to rise to the challenge against the Fighters.
Will the Wranglers knock down the top ranked team in the IFL's Eastern Conference with a victory at home on Saturday?
