Naturals Fanfest Features a Hall of Fame Fan Vote

SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals invite fans to come to Naturals FanFest on Saturday, March 5 at Arvest Ballpark to participate in our Fan Vote for the 4th inductee into the Naturals' Hall of Fame. The voting will be from 11am-1:30pm and the nominees for this exclusive club include 1B Eric Hosmer, 1B Kila Ka'aihue, and C Salvador Perez.

The newest inductee into the Naturals' Hall of Fame will be revealed on Opening Day at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, April 7 during a pre-game ceremony before the Naturals take on the Frisco RoughRiders at 6:25pm. The fan vote is one (1) element of a six (6) part selection committee that consists of a member of the Naturals' front office, the Naturals' PR department, a delegate from the Kansas City Royals' front office, a community member, and two (2) members of the local media. Each committee member ranks their top three (3) candidates and the player with the most points is elected into the Hall of Fame.

Gates will officially open at Arvest Ballpark at 11 a.m. for Naturals FanFest, which is a FREE event open to the public and is presented by media partners KFSM - Channel 5 and our local iHeartMedia radio stations. The special event at Arvest Ballpark includes complimentary food and refreshments for the first 500 guests. The Naturals will also offer tours and activities for fans of all ages as well as specials on tickets and merchandise throughout the event. Along with the Arvest Ballpark Box Office being open, the Naturals Team Store will also be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and be offering a 25% OFF storewide sale so fans can get the latest Naturals and Royals merchandise in advance of the 2016 season.

In addition to individual tickets going on sale, here are some events taking place only at Naturals FanFest:

FREE Food & FREE Refreshments for the first 500 guests beginning at 11 a.m. Food and refreshments will be served near the War Eagle Café (Concession Stand 2).

FREE VIP tours of Arvest Ballpark - including the press box, suite level, Walmart Game Room Suite, the home clubhouse, the Naturals' dugout, and the option to walk the warning track of Arvest Ballpark*

Access to the Naturals dugout and field warning track area for fan photos*

Batting Cages open and FREE from 11am until 1:30 p.m.

FREE Skee-Ball inflatable for the kids from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.*

FREE Kids Train Rides around the concourse from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.*

Special appearances by Strike the Sasquatch & Sinker the Lake Creature from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Raffles every hour near the Naturals Team Store to win an assortment of Naturals prizes

Fan Vote for the 4th inductee into the Naturals Hall of Fame to be announced on Opening Night.

-   Individual Ticket Special - Receive a FREE ticket to a Naturals game in April or May with the purchase of a regularly priced single game ticket (The FREE ticket offer is valid for in-person single-game ticket purchases ONLY on Saturday, March 5th at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office. Offer excludes May 6 and May 21)

Mini Pack Special - The first ten (10) fans to purchase a Mini Pack will receive a $25 Naturals Gift Card, $25 Gift Card to Stone Mill Bread, and a Yordano Ventura Bobblehead

The Arvest Ballpark Box Office is open 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 for those interested in purchasing single game tickets, mini packs, or season tickets for the 2016 season. Tickets will also be available online at www.nwanaturals.com or via our toll free ticket hotline at (877) 444-2637. Tickets purchased online or by telephone must be paid for via credit card.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will return to action on Thursday, April 7 of 2016 when they host the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, to begin Season Nine of Naturals Baseball.
