Arizona Rattlers News Release
MESA, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announced on Monday the signing of WR NATE FORSE. "We are very excited to add Nate to our organization," said GM/HEAD COACH KEVIN GUY. "He is not only a big, sure handed receiver, that will be effective in the red zone, but Nate is a person who will make a positive impact in our locker-room."
Forse, who stands at an imposing 6'4" 220 lbs, played last season for the Milwaukee Iron of the Arena Football League. Participating in only 12 games due to injury, he finished with 111 receptions for 1,389 yards and 26 touchdowns.
In 2009, Forse was named to the All-Arenafootball2 First Team as member of the Green Bay Blizzard, where he recorded 131 receptions for 1,875 yards and 28 touchdowns. His team-record breaking efforts resulted in a private workout with the Pittsburgh Steelers following the season.
Prior to his professional career, Forse played at West Virginia University before transferring to California (PA). For three consecutive seasons he led the Cal receiving corps, earning All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors with a career-best 59 catches for 804 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior year.
