From the Notes

Division Champs and Playoff Bound: The Sounds have won the American Southern Division and will take part in the Pacific Coast League Playoffs for the first time since 2007. It's the fifth division title for the franchise since joining the PCL in 1998. With the best record in the league (78-56), they're the first team to clinch their spot in the playoffs.

Overton on Point: Tonight's starter Dillon Overton is trying to become the second pitcher in the PCL to win 13 games with year (Ty Blach - Sacramento, 14). Overton has a team-high 12 quality starts and the Sounds are 13-6 when he starts. The lefty's 3.38 ERA is fifth-lowest in the league.

Not Out-Hit Much: For only the 14th time this year, the Sounds were out-hit by their opponent and won. Nashville has out-hit or matched their opponent in hits in 86 of 134 games.

The "J" Trio Trip: Jaycob Brugman, Joey Wendle and Josh Rodriguez have carried Nashville's offense on the road trip. The trio has combined to hit .429 (36-for-84) with 29 RBI, 21 runs scored, 11 doubles, 6 home runs, 1 triple and 10 walks.

Road Warriors: At 45-21, the Sounds have the best road record in professional baseball. The 45 wins on the road is the most since the Sounds joined the PCL in 1998, shattering the previous high of 41 in 2007. The all-time franchise record for most road wins in a season is 46 in 1980.
