The Sounds will honor local hero James Shaw Jr. with a check donation during the fourth inning. Shaw will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch at 6:20 p.m.

Star Wars Weekend continues with special Star Wars characters invading the ballpark.

Star Wars Jersey Auction benefiting Miracle League of Music City. The online and mobile auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. and finish at the end of the sixth inning. Winning bidders in-ballpark will receive their game-worn signed jersey on the field post-game.

Home Cooking: Another home win for the Sounds last night moved their record to 9-4 at First Tennessee Park. The Sounds have the fourth-best home mark in the Pacific Coast League behind only Oklahoma City (13-0), Fresno (10-3) and Colorado Springs (11-4).

Reverse the Split: Tonight's starter Daniel Gossett is holding Pacific Coast League opponents to a .169 (11-for-65) batting average. Left-handed batters have produced only one hit against Gossett in 22 at-bats (.045 batting average) while right-handed hitters are batting .233 (10-for-43) against him. Memphis has only one left-handed hitter in tonight's lineup in Max Schrock.

Don't Call it a Comeback: For only the second time this season, the Sounds came back to win a game after the opponent scored first. Memphis jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning only to see the Sounds come back with a 3-1 win. The only other game this season the Sounds won when the opponent scored first was a 5-4 win over Omaha on April 16.

Streaking Through the Quad: Five Nashville hitters have a current hitting streak of at least four games. Beau Taylor has hit safely in four straight, Anthony Garcia has a five-game streak, and Dustin Fowler, Slade Heathcott and Steve Lombardozzi have all hit safely in their last six games.
