NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville SC returns to GEODIS Park at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday to host CF Montréal in a match that will serve to honor and celebrate Women's History Month. Limited tickets are available at www.NashvilleSC.com/Tickets.

Earlier today Nashville SC Head Coach Gary Smith and defender Dan Lovitz, a former member of CF Montréal addressed the media. Smith emphasized the importance of approaching the match against Montréal with intensity to secure a positive result. Lovitz spoke about playing against his former team and the relationship he's built with Canadian winger Jacob Shaffelburg.

Lovitz was acquired by Nashville from CF Montréal in exchange for $100,000 in Allocation Money and an international roster spot in Nov. 2019. Since that trade, Lovitz has recorded more games and minutes for Nashville SC than any other active outfield player.

On Saturday Nashville SC will not be wearing its traditional Gold kit. Instead, the club will don its 'Man in Black' kit to accommodate with a request from MLS and Apple to avoid a color clash with CF Montréal. Due to a design issue with Montréal's primary kit, the Canadian side is relying on its gray secondary kit as its only available kit option for 2023.

Nashville SC has been extremely successful against Montréal in its young history, going undefeated in five all-time matches. Nashville owns a 3W-0L-2D record, including two consecutive victories. In Montréal's last visit to GEODIS Park on May 18, 2022, the Boys in Gold earned a 2-1 victory after Hany Mukhtar recorded the game-winning goal. Mukhtar has recorded two goals and an assist in four career matches against CF Montréal.

A player to watch this weekend is goalkeeper Joe Willis, who is riding a two-match shutout streak to start the season. Willis is looking to become just the seventh goalkeeper in MLS history to keep three consecutive clean sheets to start a campaign. Dating back to last season, Willis has posted three consecutive clean sheets, the second longest streak of his career.

Following the match, the club will conduct its post-match media availability in the press conference room at GEODIS Park in person and via Zoom. Footage will be distributed upon conclusion.
