Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club announced today that Moody Nolan and Pinnacle Construction will be the lead architecture and construction firms, respectively, for its South Nashville training facility. Both firms are minority-owned, and their selections continue to underscore Nashville SC's deep commitment to partnering with minority-owned businesses in the city.
"Moody Nolan and Pinnacle Construction are a perfect fit to head up this project with us," said Nashville SC Owner John R. Ingram. "They share our vision for a training facility that will be a fantastic hub for the community and a wonderful place for our players to train."
"We're excited to have been chosen to design Nashville SC's training facility," said Brian Tibbs, Managing Partner and Director of Nashville Operations for Moody Nolan. "Nashville SC has been an amazing partner to our city, and this facility in South Nashville will only deepen the connection. It's an honor to be selected as the design lead for this facility, an integral part of this and we're ready to get to work."
"The opportunity for two established firms of color to partner on the development of the Nashville SC training facility is unprecedented. I can only hope that others in leadership position here in Middle Tennessee are inspired by the progressive steps taken by John Ingram and Mary Cavarra to effectuate material and meaningful economic opportunities in support of minority-owned businesses," said Michael Carter, Managing Partner for Pinnacle Construction.
Centrally located in the heart of Nashville's fastest growing corridor, just 10 miles southeast of downtown, and extremely accessible to a four-county area, the 15-acre complex will feature three full-size soccer pitches as well as a state-of-the-art sports facility designed to host Nashville SC's first team and staff.
The training facility will add to the portfolio of state-of-the-art facilities that Nashville SC is building in Music City along with the new Nashville SC Stadium and the club's Academy Facility at Currey Ingram Academy. Just a couple of weeks ago, Nashville SC celebrated a steel ceremony at its stadium's ground, which is scheduled to open in May 2022.
