FRANKLIN -- Nashville Soccer Club capped its month-long soccer program with Special Olympics of Tennessee on Tuesday night with a final practice and autograph session featuring defenders Ken Tribbett, Darnell King and Taylor Washington.

Each Tuesday night in April, Special Olympics of TN has put on soccer practices for its athletes of all ages to help grow the game in the Music City. Nashville SC has participated, sending players and staff to help teach during the practices, and take pics and sign autographs after the session.

At Flagpole Park in Franklin on Tuesday night, Tribbett, King and Washington, alongside players and coaches from Tennessee Soccer Club, helped lead the athletes in drills, races and shooting contests.

After the training session, the three defenders gave away goodie bags to all participants that included Nashville SC jerseys. The trio then signed the jerseys, took pictures and gave out plenty of hugs and high-fives.

Nashville SC will be back in action on Saturday night in Atlanta when it faces off against Atlanta United 2 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
