NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville SC (12W-9L-9D, 45 pts.) will host Orlando City SC (15W-7L-9D, 54 pts.) on Wednesday, Oct. 4 as its second of three matches in a seven-day span. Presented by VUMC, the match at GEODIS Park is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at www.NashvilleSC.com/Tickets.

Nashville SC is currently riding a five-match unbeaten streak as it embarks on its final four matches of the regular season. With a point out of a scoreless draw against Seattle Sounders FC combined with a D.C. United draw against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Nashville SC punched its ticket for its fourth-straight Audi MLS Cup Playoffs berth.

Joe Willis was instrumental in that draw as he secured his ninth shutout of the season, which extended Nashville SC's record in fewest goals allowed in the league at 28 in 30 matches. Only nine of them have been conceded at home.

When it comes to Orlando, with a 3W-1L-4D overall record in series history, the Boys in Gold have not lost to them since their initial meeting on Aug. 26, 2020. Most importantly, Nashville SC is undefeated at home against Orlando, with a 1W-0L-3D home record. Wednesday's match will mark the first competition between the two sides hosted at GEODIS Park, and the second meeting between the two sides this season.

With its playoff berth clinched, Nashville SC currently sits seventh in the Eastern Conference with 45 points. Earlier today, Head Coach Gary Smith and Defender Jack Maher discussed the importance of Nashville SC's final four regular season matches leading into the postseason as the Boys in Gold seek to surge in the conference standings. Smith discussed the importance of the final four regular season matches while trying to manage workload for players as the season has already spanned 40 matches across all competitions for the Boys in Gold. Maher discussed that championship teams heat up in the final stretch of their respective seasons, and Nashville SC is looking to do that.
