
Nashville SC Concludes Homestand Saturday vs. CF Montréal

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville SC continues its run of four home matches in 21 days when the Boys in Gold host CF Montréal at GEODIS Park on Saturday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. CT. Tickets for the Star Wars Night match, which includes an LED light-up foam stick for the first 10,000 fans in the building, are available here .
Here are five things to know for Saturday's match, available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and on Nashville SC's flagship station 104.5 the Zone .
1. Saturday night's game against CF Montréal continues a stretch of five matches in 21 days for the Boys in Gold-including four at GEODIS Park-that began last Saturday, April 27 when the club hosted the San Jose Earthquakes at the Castle. After traveling to North Carolina on May 11 to face Charlotte FC, the club returns home to host Toronto FC (May 15) and Atlanta United FC as part of Major League Soccer Rivalry Week (May 18).
2. The Boys in Gold own a record of 4W-1L-2D all-time against CF Montréal and are unbeaten at home against their Canadian visitors (2W-0L-2D). The clubs last met at GEODIS Park on March 11, 2023, when Nashville SC held Montréal scoreless in a 2-0 victory.
3. Last Saturday, Nashville SC midfielder Hany Mukhtar notched his 60 th regular season MLS goal and his 100 th regular season goal contribution when he netted a highlight reel tally from long distance against the San Jose Earthquakes. The 2022 MLS MVP and Golden Boot winner became just the 11 th player in league history to reach 100 goal contributions in 120 games or less. Mukhtar has two goals and two assists in six career games against CF Montréal.
4. Nashville SC shares several connections with its northern neighbor: Original Boy in Gold Taylor Washington scored his lone MLS goal against Montréal at GEODIS Park on March 11, 2023; defender Dan Lovitz played for CF Montréal from 2017 to 2019 before being acquired by Nashville SC via trade; and midfielder Amar Sejdić was drafted by the Quebec side 34 th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, going on to spend three seasons with the club.
5. Nashville SC defender Walker Zimmerman and forward Tyler Boyd returned to the pitch last Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes for the first time since suffering injuries earlier this season. The United States internationals both subbed in during the match's 77 th minute. Before their respective returns, Zimmerman last played March 7 against Inter Miami CF in Concacaf Champions Cup play, while Boyd last saw the field March 23 at LAFC.
