Nashville SC News Release
Another international break is upon us.
Ahead of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, four Boys in Gold are in camp with their respective national teams for a pair of matches in Concacaf 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying. This window marks the halfway point of World Cup Qualifying, with the seventh and eighth of 14 matches taking place in the next week.
Through six matches, Walker Zimmerman and the United States sit in second place in the "Octagonal," while Alistair Johnston's Canada sits in third, Aníbal Godoy's Panama in fourth, and Randall Leal's Costa Rica in fifth. The top three teams in the standings will automatically qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and the fourth-placed team will enter into an inter-confederation play-off for a chance to go to Qatar.
Take a look at their schedules for the next week, and check back here for updates on how they're doing on international duty.
