Nashua Silver Knights Clinch Playoff Spot for Third Consecutive Season

NASHUA, NH - For the third consecutive season the Nashua Silver Knights clinched a playoff spot with their 5-0 win last night over Old Orchard Beach. Playoff tickets are on-sale now by phone at 603-718-883, on-line (www.nashuasilverknights.com) or in-person.
The Silver Knights are the two-time defending Futures Collegiate Baseball League Champions.
Ticket prices remain the same $5 for adults and $3 for kids. Group tickets are available along with luxury suites.
The 2013 FCBL Playoffs are scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 11th. If the Silver Knights finish in first place or second place they will host a play-in game on Sunday afternoon and then play the winner of the play-in game at 7 p.m. Game 1 playoff tickets are good for both games.
Currently the Silver Knights are in second place with a 30-16 record and .5 games behind Martha's Vineyard. The Silver Knights hold a 5.5 games lead over the third place North Shore Navigators.
The magic number to clinch the first or second seed in the FCBL playoffs is four. The magic number is any combination of wins by Nashua and losses by the third place team, currently North Shore.
