Nailers Announce Affiliation with Philadelphia Flyers
The Wheeling Nailers announced today they have reached an affiliate agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers for the 2007-08 season, according to club President Jim Brooks.
"This is truly an exciting announcement for us to make." This affiliation will help us achieve both - now we will have players on our team from two great NHL organizations and our players will have two sets of eyes continuously watching their development."
"We are excited to be affiliated with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL," said Paul Holmgren, General Manager of the Flyers. "Moving away from Trenton is obviously something new for us, but we are really looking forward to starting a working relationship with Wheeling."
