NAHL Titans Coach Rich McKenna Promoted to NCAA

The New Jersey Junior Titans are proud to announce that NAHL Head Coach Rich McKenna has accepted a position as Head Coach at The University of Wisconsin-Superior. Last season Rich led the Titans to a 34-22 record. Ron Lavin, the NAHL team owner said, "We are happy for Rich and his family. We are about giving both players and coaches the opportunity to participate in NCAA Hockey and Rich is joining our 6 other NAHL DI recruits in the college ranks." His assistant Nick Perri will be taking his first head coaching position with the Florida Eels. "Nick Perri has been a big part of our first season and we congratulate him on his new job", Lavin said. The Titans will announce a new head coach in a subsequent release.
Tryouts for the 16-17 season begin with an open camp May 20th at Middletown. www.nahltitans.com for mor information. The 2016 NAHL Draft is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th at 1pm.
The NAHL is the only TII Junior Hockey League in the USA with 25 teams from Massachusetts to Alaska. More uncommitted players find an NCAA opportunity than in any other junior league. Players do not pay hockey tuition to play on NAHL teams but are responsible for their living expenses with Host families.
