With the win, Washington snapped a six-game losing streak to Phoenix, claiming their first win over the Mercury since July 30, 2019.

The Mystics +18 margin of victory serves as the third-largest win over the Mercury in series history and is the largest since the 2005 WNBA season (+21, 06/21/05).

Washington outscored Phoenix 32-20 in the paint is now 9-4 in games this season when doing so.

Player:

Washington guard Natasha Cloud tied a season-high with 10 assists and has now recorded at least 5+ assists in a franchise record 18 consecutive games dating back to last season.

This serves as the longest active streak in the WNBA, with the second-longest such streak at seven games (Alyssa Thomas, CON).

Additionally, this stands alone as the fifth-longest streak in WNBA history.

Mystics rookie center Shakira Austin netted a team-high 16 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season.

Austin becomes the seventh rookie in franchise history and the first since Myisha Hines-Allen (2018) to record 2+ double-doubles in a season.

Additionally, Austin joins IND's NaLyssa Smith (3) as the only rookie's in the WNBA with multiple double-doubles this season.

Austin has now hauled in 5+ rebounds in five consecutive games.
