Mustangs Support the 2011 Walk to Defeat ALS
September 23, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Milwaukee Mustangs News Release
On Sunday, October 9th the Milwaukee Mustangs will join thousands at Greenfield Park to help support the Walk to Defeat ALS.
Jim Eutizzi brought this important cause to the Mustangs' attention and has shed some light on supporting those in the fight against this devastating disease.
Eutizzi is a 48-year-old husband and father to four children. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He spent over 20 years in sales with the last 15 in pharmaceuticals before ALS, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease", forced him to retire. Eutizzi did not choose this disease, but he is choosing to fight back.
The cause of ALS is not completely understood, but recent years of study have brought a wealth of new scientific understanding regarding the physiology of this disease. The Milwaukee Mustangs are excited to be part of such a tremendous worldwide event that supports the fight against ALS.
Members working the 2011 Walk to Defeat ALS will be selling discounted ticket vouchers for the Milwaukee Mustangs 2012 season. All Mustangs ticket proceeds will be donated directly to the cause.
