Mustangs Re-sign Dewayne Lefall

Milwaukee - The Milwaukee Mustangs are excited to announce the re-signing of offensive/defensive lineman Dewayne Lefall to the 2012 roster.

Lefall (6'3, 265, University of Akron) enters his second season in the Arena Football League after a standout season in 2011 as an anchor for the Milwaukee Mustangs' defensive line. Lefall helped bolster the Mustangs to the top-rated defense in the league.

Lefall played in 10 games and started in nine for the Mustangs in 2011. He recorded 16.5 tackles, 9.0 for a loss, 7.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries and six forced fumbles. He was also named defensive player of the game against the New Orleans Voodoo when he recorded a sack and a forced fumble.

Lefall's professional football career also consists of a split year with the Copper Football League and signing as a free agent for the 2010 UFL season. He spent 2006 with the Louisville Fire of the af2 and 2005 with the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders. Prior to playing at the professional level, Lefall posted an impressive 39 tackles as a junior at the University of Akron. He had 26 tackles, four for a loss, and added two interceptions his senior year. After a notable journey, Lefall officially became a member of the AFL.
