
Mustangs Sign Sean Enesi

Milwaukee - The Milwaukee Mustangs are excited to announce the signing of lineman Sean Enesi to the roster this week.
Enesi (6'0, 290, Utah State) is an Arena Football League rookie, signing with the Mustangs after going undrafted in 2011 NFL Draft. He posted 55 career tackles, 2.5 for a loss, and a forced fumble over two seasons with the Aggies. Prior to arriving at Utah State, Enesi enjoyed a decorated junior college career at El Camino Junior College, where he was twice named a first-team all-Central Conference selection as a defensive lineman and led his team to two Mission Conference championships.
Milwaukee's rushing attack will also receive a boost this week, as the Mustangs have activated fullback Mykel Benson from league suspension. The 6'1, 260-pound bruiser has gained 151 yards on the ground this season, in addition to an impressive 14 rushing touchdowns which ranks him sixth in the league.
To make room on the roster, the Mustangs have released wide receiver Brent Holmes and defensive lineman Broderick Stewart. Holmes caught 59 passes for 542 yards (9.2 yard average) and five touchdowns in 13 games this season for Milwaukee, starting nine. Stewart appeared in 12 games for the Mustangs, recording 8.5 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and one forced fumble.
The Milwaukee Mustangs (4-11) travel to New Orleans Friday night to break the spell of the Voodoo (3-12) at 7 p.m. (CST) in New Orleans Arena. The game will be broadcasted live on 540 ESPN Milwaukee radio and espnmilwaukee.com and can be viewed online on NiFTyTV.
