Saturday's Home Finale Sold Out

July 7, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Georgia Force News Release

Duluth, GA (July 7, 2011) - Anticipation for the Force's Saturday showdown with the Chicago Rush has been building for three weeks. That excitement came to a head on Thursday when the final regular season game at The Arena at Gwinnett Center officially sold out.

"This will be an event," said Force president Cory Howerton. "The Force are headed for another deep playoff run, and there's a buzz here that hasn't been seen since the ArenaBowl team in 2005. Saturday night will give our fans a taste of what Force football will be for years to come."

In anticipation of extremely heavy traffic at the will call window, fans are encouraged to beat the crowd by picking up their tickets immediately. The Arena box office will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and starting at noon on Saturday.

In addition to honoring members of our armed forces as part of Military Appreciation Night festivities, Saturday night will featured a thrilling pregame show and a showdown between two of Arena Football's top teams. The Force, at 9-6, occupy the American Conference's top wild card slot, while Chicago has an 11-4 record and has clinched a National Conference playoff berth. The Rush sit one game ahead of Dallas for the Central Division lead. This is the first and only meeting between the two teams, barring a rematch both would welcome on August 12 in ArenaBowl XXIV.
