Mustangs Launch New Website
May 16, 2011 - Coastal Plain League (Coastal Plain)
Martinsville Mustangs News Release
Martinsville, Va. - The new Mustangs website went live late last week on the World Wide Web. www.martinsvillemustangs.com created by HD Web Studios, brings a fresh look to the Mustangs website and offers fans the ability to easily buy tickets, get directions, or keep up with the latest news about the Mustangs while enhancing the team's revenue opportunities through advertisements and sponsorships.
"Online marketing and advertising are growing fast. The new website will allow us to add more sponsors and expand our already large fan base. HD Web Studios did a great job creating the site and launching it quickly. They also had some great ideas for the website that the previous one did not have. We now have a newsletter for those fans who want to get all of the team's press releases and inside team information," said General Manager Jim Taipalus.
The newsletter isn't the only new addition to the website. Fans will be able to follow the team on the new Twitter and YouTube accounts as well as the already existing Facebook page. The website now provides a calendar marking every event the Mustangs will be attending as well as providing new visitors the ability to quickly get directions to the ballpark through Google Maps.
Please go to www.martinsvillemustangs.com and join our newsletter for updated team information.
The Mustangs are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 15th season in 2011, the CPL features 15 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 800 alumni drafted and 39 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
