SIOUX CITY, IA - The Omaha Lancers were defeated in overtime on Saturday night by the Sioux City Musketeers by a final of 2-1.
The first goal of the night came at 36-seconds in the second period from the Musketeers. The Lancers answered back to even the game when Christian Berger (9:22) scored from the blue line in the third period. The game would go on to an extra frame where Dominic Vidoli scored in the final seconds to get the Musketeers the 2-1 win.
The Lancers are now 2-1-1-0 on the year with 5 points.
The Lancers return to the ice on Friday, October 11th to take on the Fargo Force at Scheels Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:05 pm.
