Musketeers Head East for the Holiday

The Musketeers will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's loss in Omaha when the team has its one and only lengthy Eastern trip of the 2011-12 season this coming weekend.

Sioux City will visit the Indiana Ice on Friday, the Youngstown Phantoms on Saturday and the Chicago Steel on Sunday afternoon.

The Friday game is set for 6:05 PM CST, the Saturday contest will faceoff at 6:15 PM CST and Sunday's game is a matinee where the puck will drop at 3:00 PM.

So make the Musketeers a part of your Thanksgiving holiday weekend by tuning in to Curtis Anderson and Jordan Berger as they'll have the call of all three road games on Fox Sports Radio 620 KMNS, as well as on the USHL's new online broadcast partner FASTHockey.

TEDDY BEAR TOSS GAME SET FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th

The Musketeers will be having their annual Teddy Bear Toss "Toys for Tots" game on Saturday, December 10th when Sioux City hosts the Fargo Force at Tyson Events Center at 7:00 PM.

Much like the 'Sock it to Me' night, fans are encouraged to bring a Teddy Bear that will be tossed on to the ice after the Musketeers score their first goal.

The Siouxland Detachment of the Marine Corp Leagues will collect the bears and distribute them to the less fortunate children throughout the Siouxland area for Christmas.

The Teddy Bear Toss night is always a great event for a great cause and it's the Musketeers first home game after the team's six game road trip so get your tickets today by calling 712-252-2116.

SIOUXLAND TEACHERS AND CHURCH MEMBERS CAN GET GROUP TICKET DISCOUNTS FOR THAT SAME DECEMBER 10th GAME

The Musketeers are offering special ticket deals for that same December 10th game for all Siouxland teachers and all Siouxland Church Members.

Every teacher in the Siouxland community, along with friends and family, will recieve discounts on group tickets to the December 10th game against Fargo.

In addition, every church member in the Siouxland community and their friends family, will also recieve group ticket discounts to the December 10th game.

So tell everyone about the discounts if they fit this criteria!

SKATE WITH THE PLAYERS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th

The Musketeers will be having another Skate with the Players on Sunday, December 11th when Sioux City hosts Team USA U-18.

So bring the kids to watch the Muskies play (and beat!) one of the most talented teams in the USHL and then skate with the players after the contest!

BOOSTER CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY 12-4-11

The annual MBC Christmas party will be Sunday December 4, 2011 at the Hinton Community Hall in Hinton, Iowa.

Cost is $10.00 per adult or $25 per family (2 adults and children).

Everyone is asked to bring a dessert to pass. It is planned to have a traditional Christmas dinner. Reservations are needed by December 1st.

Please reserve your spot with payment to the MBC stand in section 106 on the concourse level or call Harold Saul at 712-898-2963, Kevin Miller at 712-251-3965 or Aaron Plum at 712-223-1817.

The meal will be at 6:00 PM followed by a hypnotist. All players and coaching staff will be at this event.

Players, staff, and guests will be served by the MBC Board members.

MUSKETEER COACH'S SHOW RETURNS ON FOX SPORTS RADIO

The regular season is now in full swing, and that means the Musketeer Coach's show is back on Fox Sports Radio 620 KMNS, every Tuesday night from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

Coach Larson and two players swing by Bob Roe's to talk with Curtis Anderson and Jordan Berger about the week that was and the week ahead.

Players Geoff Ferguson and Noah Nelson will stop by this week so tune into the show on Tuesday, November 22nd at 6:00 PM!
