Muskegon to Host Four Preseason Games, Hit the Road for Two

MUSKEGON, Mich. - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have released their 2022 preseason schedule on Tuesday, July 19. In total, the Lumberjacks will play six exhibition contests, including four home games and a pair of away games, before kicking off the 2022-23 regular season in Cranberry Township, Pa., for the annual DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic.

The Lumberjacks will hit the ice for the first time on Friday, Sept. 9, for their first preseason home game against the Chicago Steel at 7:00 pm EDT at the newly rebranded Trinity Health Arena. Muskegon will then travel to Chicago the next night on Saturday, Sept. 10, to play the Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena at 8:05 pm EDT.

Following that, the Lumberjacks welcome the Youngstown Phantoms for a pair of home games at Trinity Health Arena on Monday, Sept. 12 at 7:00 pm EDT and Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 12:00 pm EDT.

Later that same week, the Jacks will host their annual Education Day game on Friday, Sept. 16, against Team USA U18, sponsored by the Muskegon Lumberjacks Charitable Foundation and the Reading Caravan.

Finally, Muskegon will wrap up the 2022 preseason against Team USA U18 on Friday, Sep. 17, for the fifth annual Kiefer Foundation Charity Game at USA Hockey Arena.

Single-game tickets and pricing, along with more information, will go on sale on Friday, August 12 at 12:00 pm.

2022-23 Regular Season Schedule

The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced the 2022-23 regular-season schedule. In total, the season will consist of 62 regular-season contests in a regionally-based schedule. Flannel Fest will make its return on Sept. 30 for Muskegon's home opener against the Chicago Steel. In all, fans will have the opportunity to witness live Lumberjack hockey 30 times this upcoming year, including 30 unique theme nights for each home game. All home games - with the exception of Dec. 31 - will have a 7:00 pm ET start time from Trinity Health Arena in downtown Muskegon. Single-game tickets, along with the full promotional schedule - including theme nights - will be released at a later date. Season tickets are on sale now.
