Muskegon Junior Jacks Announce Youth Coaching Clubs and Coaches for 2014-15 Season

MUSKEGON, Michigan (February 28th) - The Muskegon Junior Jacks youth hockey organization, along with the Muskegon Lumberjacks, are excited to announce that the Junior Jacks organization will be expanding their youth hockey program from three to eight teams for the 2014-15 season in what will be their third year of operation.

"As part of our vision to establish the premier organization in the USHL, we are committed to building an integrated youth hockey organization with coaches that have a passion for player development in a positive, affirming, and fun environment," shared USA Olympian, USA Hockey Hall of Fame member, and NHL veteran John Vanbiesbrouck, who moved to West Michigan this past summer to serve as Muskegon Lumberjacks General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations. "We believe that this model benefits players, parents, and coaches alike, and we are excited about the continued expansion and development of our Junior Jacks program. We are still looking for a few coaches to help lead a couple of clubs and are optimistic that they will join us in furthering the growth of youth hockey in Muskegon."

The following is a list of Junior Jacks youth hockey teams for the upcoming 2014-15 season, and please join us congratulating the respective head coaches for each team:

- Squirt Major (Tier AA - 2004 Birth Years) - John Reelman

- Pee Wee House (Tier B - 2002 & 2003 Birth Years) - Joe McNarland

- Pee Wee Minor (Tier A - 2003 Birth Years) - TBD

- Bantam House (Tier B - 2000 & 2001 Birth Years) - TBD

- Bantam Minor (Tier A - 2001 Birth Years) - Eric Beishuizen

- Midget (Tier A - 1999 Birth Years) - TBD
