Murfreesboro Musicians News Release
The Murfreesboro Musicians have come to terms with the Cleveland Majic on a trade. In the announced trade Murfreesboro sent Cleveland the rights to Julius Lamptey (7'1''-C-86) and future considerations in exchange for Will Caudle (6'9''-F/C-84, college: Xavier). Lamptey is a 7'1-280 center that made the jump from High School into the NBA draft after much promise and praise was thrown on him at such an early age. Unfortunately, he was unable to catch on with an NBA team but is still only 20 years old and working on getting another opportunity this summer. Caudle himself only 22, was recently ranked one of minor league basketball's best players (#15 overall-Pro Basketball News) on Sam Amico's www.probasketballnews.com and is in the process of arranging summer workouts with NBA teams. You can get more information on the World Basketball Association as www.wbaball.net or on the Murfreesboro Musicians at www.musiciansproball.com.
MUSICIANS NOTES:
* The Musicians resume action Friday, June 2nd as they travel to Cleveland, TN to play the Cleveland Majic. Tip off will be at 7pm (Eastern Time).
