June 15, 2007 - South Coast League (SCL)
Macon Music News Release
June 15, 2007 - MACON, GA - The schedule keeps on growing for the Macon Music. The South Coast League informed the front office of the Macon Music at 1:00 pm Friday that in addition to the series against the Bradenton Juice during the weekend of July 26-28, they will also get the series next weekend (June 21-23) moved to Macon.
"We are certainly excited about being able to stay home for a few more games," said Music GM Ric Sisler, "It is going to be a challenge to prepare for a whole new series in less than a week, but the entire staff of the Music has done a great job in the first month and we are ready to put on a good show."
There was a look of excitement and joy on players' and coaches' faces when told the games scheduled for Bradenton will be played here in Macon.
"Traveling takes its toll on the players," said Music assistant coach Chad Parker, "for us to be able to avoid a trip down to Florida it will help our players physically and mentally in the long run."
The games will be played as a normal Music home game. All six games will be played at 7:05 pm. Promotions such as Thirsty Thursday will continue as usual, but other promotions are still to be determined.
Season ticket holders are still untitled to their seats, but the Macon Music staff is asking they contact the Music to get a voucher for their seats.
Fans can get tickets to the game by stopping by Luther Williams Field box office or by calling (478) 749-1819.
