Murley joins team after AHL stint

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Frostbite, members of the United Hockey League, announced today that the team has hired Tom Murley as its new athletic trainer.

The Troy, NY native comes to Adirondack after spending the previous three seasons as the head athletic trainer of the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons. Prior to working in Springfield, he served as an athletic trainer with the Elmira Jackals, the Boston Bruins, and the Albany Firebirds of the Arena Football League.

Murley graduated from Springfield College in 1999 with a degree in athletic training. He is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers' Society.

Tom's younger brother, Matt, plays for the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins.

Adirondack opens the 2005-2006 season on Friday, October 22 with a road date at Richmond. The Frostbite open the home portion of the schedule on Saturday, October 23, also against the RiverDogs.
