MUDBUGS LOSE TO LUBBOCK 3-2 LAST THURSDAY
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs took an early lead on the road against the Lubbock Cotton Kings last Thursday but weren't able to keep it. Lubbock's Jimmy Callahan scored two goals to help lead the Cotton Kings to victory. Joe Ori scored his first goal as a Mudbug and Jason Basile scored his first goal of the year to even the game at two. Ken Carroll stopped 41 of 44 shots but Ross McCain scored the game winner to clinch two points for Lubbock.
BUGS OUTLAST AUSTIN ON FRIDAY
The Bugs and Ice Bats skated in a defensive oriented game that saw a combined 44 shots on Friday night at CenturyTel Center. Mudbugs goaltender John DeCaro faced only 4 shots in the first period. Joe Ori scored his second goal in two nights and new Mudbug Cam Abbott scored the game winning goal on the powerplay in the third period. John DeCaro picked up his third win of the season.
MUDBUGS BEAT OKLAHOMA CITY 2-1 IN SHOOTOUT, STAY UNDEFEATED AT HOME
Mudbugs goaltender Ken Carroll turned in a phenomenal performance in net to keep the Mudbugs a perfect 4-0-0 on home ice. The game was filled with fast-paced, up and down action the entire night as neither team was able to score until the third period. Daniel Pegoraro scored his 6th goal of the season to get the Bugs on the board. Joe Ori's scored the game winning goal on a forehand deke in extra rounds of the shootout. Ken Carroll's final save on Marc Conners clinched the win for the Bugs.
MUDBUGS STARS OF THE WEEK
JOE ORI - Scored three goals in three games, including the game winning goal in Saturday's shootout win.
KEN CARROLL - Stopped 45 of 46 shots on Saturday in his best performance of the year.
JOHN DECARO - Only goal allowed on Friday was during a five on three penalty kill.

RADIO SCHEDULE
Wednesday night's game against Rio Grande Valley will be on 710 KEEL with pre-game beginning at 7:15 P.M. Friday and Saturday's games over Thanksgiving weekend can be heard on 1130 KWKH with pre-game starting at 6:45 P.M.
THIS WEEK -
The Bugs hit the road for a Wednesday night game at Rio Grande Valley. Then it's back home for games against Rio Grande Valley and Wichita on Friday and Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend.
