Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are excited to announce the assembly of the 10th Anniversary Team, with polling beginning this Friday, January 26th. Fans are encouraged to stop by the information table at the home games starting this Friday and Saturday night to cast their vote.
"Our fans have expressed great enthusiasm in honoring Mudbug players from years ago," said Mudbugs General Manager Jason Rent. "The best way to do this is by polling the fans directly."
All Mudbugs fans are invited to stop by the information table and fill out a form. Cast your vote by listing the ten most influential players at any position from the past ten years. Polling will continue over the next several weeks with the team being announced the final week of February.
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are at home this Friday against the Memphis RiverKings and Saturday against the Austin Ice Bats. Fans are encouraged to wear black on Friday night for an arena-wide "blackout". Saturday marks Clawed's 10th birthday, anyone who has a mascot for their work or school is encouraged to call the front office at 318-752-BUGS. Group tickets are available for both games by calling 318-752-BUGS.
