February 10, 2020 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
The Shreveport Mudbugs proudly announce the tendering of Parker Severson for the 2020-21 season. Severson, 19, is in his first full season of playing junior hockey. The 6'0/175 lbs. native of Saginaw, Michigan, is in his first season of junior hockey with the Coulee Region Chill of the NA3HL. He leads the team with 42 points in 29 games.
Severson and his high school team were State Runner-ups the past two seasons for Saginaw Heritage High School in Michigan where he was second on his team in points both of those seasons.
"I'm excited to be apart of the Mudbugs organization and an honor to have signed a tender with them" "They have a great program and a great atmosphere in Shreveport in a very good South division"
Mudbugs scout Tom Winkler says "Parker was at our main camp last summer and he showed very well but there were a few things that we wanted him to work on. Seeing him at the NA3HL Showcase, it was obvious that he has put the work in and is making a major impact with the Chill and Coach Babineau. We are excited to follow his continued progress as the year goes on."
