Hugh Quinn - Forward - Orsa Sweden - NAHL Central Division Team Jed Pietila - Defenseman - Howell, MI - NAHL Central Division Team
Jaden Shields - Defenseman - Royal Oak, MI - NAHL Central Division Team Carson Riddle - Forward - Holly, MI - NAHL Selects Blue Team (Committed: Western Michigan Univ.) Tiernan Shoudy - Forward - Marysville, MI - NAHL Selects Blue Team (Committed: Michigan State Univ.)
Steve Howard - Head Coach - NAHL Selects Blue Team (will serve as Assistant Coach) TJ Chillot - Broadcaster - One of two broadcasters selected league-wide to call all six TPT tournament games
LAST GAMES REVIEW: The Bruins completed a weekend sweep of the St. Cloud Blizzard this past weekend. On
Saturday, for Paint the Rink Pink, the Bruins took down the Blizzard 5-2. In front of a sellout crowd at Riverside Arena, Tiernan Shoudy netted two goals for Austin while Carson Riddle, Dante Sheriff, and Connor Mylymok all had multi-point nights. Following the game, the Bruins hosted their annual player performances and jersey auction which helped to raise over $25,000 for the Hormel Institute for cancer research. All-in-all, the preliminary estimates has the total raised for this year's Paint the Rink Pink at over $30,000. In 10 seasons, the Bruins have contributed over $300,000.
On Sunday, the Bruins traveled to St. Cloud and once again topped the Blizzard. This game was much closer than Saturday night's but the Bruins still prevailed, winning in overtime thanks to Dante Sheriff. With the goal, Dante Sheriff took over as the NAHL's LEADING SCORER with 16 goals and 41 assists on the season.
