BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the the Central Hockey League today announced that forward Darryl Lloyd has signed for the upcoming season. Lloyd returns to the Central Hockey League after spending the 2006-07 season with the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

"He's been a fan favorite everywhere he's been. It's great to see him back in the Central League and even better to see him in a Mudbugs uniform."
Lloyd amassed 78 points in 122 games in his two seasons in the CHL. He also totaled over 300 PIMS in that time.
"I can't wait to get down to Bossier-Shreveport. The summer has been going slow and I'm ready to start the hockey season," said Lloyd. "There's some great talent on this team and I'm looking foward to a winning season."
The Mudbugs will begin the 2007-2008 season on October 19th on the road against the Mississippi RiverKings, then it's the home opener the following night against the renewed Texas Brahmas and former Mudbug great Dan Wildfong.
