Bucks Announce Matinee Game, November 13 vs. Rio Grande Valley

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced today that they will play their annual weekday matinee game at the LEC on Tuesday November 13th, at 11am against Division Rival Rio Grande Valley.
This will be the sixth straight season the Bucks have played a home matinee game during the week. The Bucks played three morning weekday games at home in 2003-04.
Laredo has a 6-1 record in home weekday matinee games, playing in front of an average of 7,122 fans, with a sell-out crowd of 8,002 in 2003, and two crowds of 8,000 fans, also during the 2003 season. Last season the Bucks beat Corpus Christi 2-1 in overtime on December 6th in the matinee game, in front of 6,212 fans, as Jeff Bes scored the game-winning OT goal.
This will be the second time the Bucks and Bees will tangle in a weekday matinee game at the LEC. The Bucks beat the Bees 5-2 on March 1, 2006.
The Matinee game is a chance for all the local schools to come out to the LEC during the week and cheer on the two-time CHL president's Cup Champions. For ticket information call 718-BUCK (2825).
The Bucks, who are preparing for their sixth season, will open training camp October 8th at the LEC. Laredo will open the 2007-08 season October 19th at New Mexico, with the home opener October 26th at the LEC against Division Rival Corpus Christi. For ticket information call 718-BUCK (2825).
