Mudbugs Broadcasts Now on Digital Cable

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release


BOSSIER CITY, LA – This season, Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs fans will be able to relive all the excitement at the CenturyTel Center through Time Warner Digital Cable. All 32 Mudbugs home games will be archived on "Shreveport on Demand" Channel 1066 and will be free to all digital cable subscribers.

Throughout the 2003-04 Mudbugs season, home games will be added to Channel 1066 within a few days after every game at the CenturyTel Center. The video broadcasts can be viewed at any time and will feature all play-by-play action from Mudbugs broadcasters Steve Mears and Scott Tarkowski.

"This is going to be a great service for all Mudbugs fans," said Mudbugs General Manager Jason Rent. "We would like to thank our friends at Time Warner Cable for helping to make this happen. Having the ability to go back and watch all the action on digital cable is something that all of our fans will enjoy."

"Shreveport on Demand" also features archived broadcasts of local high school football games, including the "Game of the Week." Fans who currently subscribe to Time Warner Digital Cable can find more programming information on Channel 1066.
