BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs welcomed the Wichita Thunder on Saturday night. The Thunder took the early lead on a powerplay goal by Joe Blaznek. The Bugs would break a two game scoring drought when Dan Wildfong scored on a rebound to tie the game.
The Bugs picked up the go-ahead goal in the second period. Cam Abbott took a feed from Karlis Zirnis from behind the net and jammed it behind Andrew Martin.
Ken Carroll turned aside 26 of 27 shots whiile Daniel Pegoraro scored two third period goals to ice the win for the Mudbugs. The win broke a two game losing streak for Bossier-Shreveport The Bugs are back in action on Tuesday night against Memphis at CenturyTel Center.
