Mudbugs Announce Host Hotel and Radio Partners

BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and Boomtown Hotel & Casino in Bossier City are pleased to announce a partnership that will make Boomtown the official host hotel of the Mudbugs and site of the team's weekly Coaches radio show for the 2008-09 Central Hockey League season. The team will again be partnering with GAP Broadcasting radio stations to broadcast all Mudbugs games and Coaches shows on AM 1130 KWKH and News radio 710 AM KEEL in Shreveport.
Starting next Monday, October 13th at 6:00 pm, PowerPlay with Scott Muscutt, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs' Coaches Show, will be held in the Sundance Cantina at Boomtown Hotel & Casino, and throughout the season, Boomtown will be the Official Hotel of the Mudbugs.
"We are thrilled to team up with Boomtown to provide quality lodging for guests of the team who are visiting Bossier-Shreveport," said President & General Manager Ray Delia. "Boomtown was also the most successful location we've ever had for our Coaches show, so we hope the fans will be excited to have it there once again."
Join us on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm throughout the season for PowerPlay, which features Head Coach Scott Muscutt and weekly Mudbugs player guests. The Coaches Show is hosted by the voice of the Mudbugs, Travis Huntington, and gives fans the chance to ask questions and hear all the latest happenings in Mudbugs hockey first hand from coaches and players. The Sundance Cantina features a full menu of American favorites with a Southwestern flair and a number of unique specialty drinks at its full bar.
The Coaches show and all regular season and playoff Mudbugs games in 08-09 will be aired on GAP Broadcasting stations once again this year. For the ninth straight season, the Mudbugs radio homes will be "The Home of the Legends" AM 1130 KWKH and News radio 710 AM KEEL. KWKH continues to be the region's sports leader, carrying the Mudbugs, New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.
