Mountaineers Postponed at Newport

Newport, R.I. - Due to inclement weather, tonight's New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) contest between the Vermont Mountaineers and the Newport Gulls at Cardines Field has been cancelled. A make-up date has yet to be determined.

Vermont (6-8) now returns home for four straight days beginning on Tuesday, June 26 as they host the Sanford Mainers at 6:30 p.m. at Montpelier Recreation Field. All the live game action can be heard on ESPN 1240, WSKI and online at www.thevermontmountaineers.com.
