Vermont Mountaineers News Release
MONTPELIER, Vt.--The New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) game scheduled for Friday between the Vermont Mountaineers and Plymouth Pilgrims has been rained out.
Heavy rain is expected this evening in Central Vermont, and the chances of getting the game in would have been slim. This is the second time that these two teams have been rained out this season. The make-up date is to be determined.
The Mountaineers will be in action again on Saturday evening when they'll host the Keene Swamp Bats. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM at Recreation Field. The game can be heard locally on CBS Sports 1240 AM or online through The NECBL Broadcast Network.
