Hamilton, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs dropped a 3-0 decision at home for the second time in as many games Wednesday evening. Goalie Tyler Moss earned his third shutout of the season for the visiting Edmonton Road Runners and is now tied with Mathieu Garon of Manchester for the league lead in that category.

The Road Runners opened the scoring at the 14:30 mark of the first frame on a goal by forward Joe Cullen. Winger Sean McAslan picked up the puck from a turnover in the corner and passed it out front to Cullen who then backhanded it along the ice, through the legs of goalie Yann Danis.

Edmonton made it 2-0 late in the second period on a great individual effort and shorthanded goal by winger Toby Peterson. Peterson stripped Trevor Daley of the puck at centre ice and skated in alone on Yann Danis burying his fourth of the season. The goal came at 18:30 of the second period and was on a two-man disadvantage for the Road Runners.

The Bulldogs held the edge in shots after two periods but could not solve Road Runners goalie Tyler Moss.

In the third period, the Road Runners would add to their lead on a five-minute power play. Forward Mike Bishai skated in alone and netted his second of the season high over the glove of Danis. The goal came at the 6:46 mark of the third.

Tyler Moss would stop all third period shots by the Bulldogs on the way to his third shutout of the season. Yann Danis stopped 24 of 27 in a losing cause for the Bulldogs. The loss was the first ever in regulation for Danis.

The Bulldogs' next action will take place on Friday, November 19th when they will travel to Syracuse to take on the Crunch. Game time will be 7:30pm and fans can listen to all the action live at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com or AM 820-CHAM.
