Mori And Rheaume Called Up

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals, proud members of the IHL, announced Thursday that two players are being called up to the AHL for one game. Budding young star John Mori and veteran leader Pascal Rheaume head to the Manchester Monarchs (AHL affiliate of the L.A. Kings) for their game Friday against the Worcester Sharks.

Mori, 23-year old right wing from Connecticut, has had a great start to his rookie season with the Generals scoring 8 goals and 7 assists for 15 points through 24 games. He has received league recognition twice so far this season as Rookie of the Month for the month of November and Rookie of the week for the first week in December.

Generals Captain Rheaume has picked up his game the past few weeks nabbing 5 assists in the past seven games. He has 1 goal and 11 assists for 12 points through 24 games this season.

The Generals host the Port Huron IceHawks Friday night at Perani Arena for their second matchup of the week, falling to the Hawks 6-1 on Tuesday night at McMorran Arena. The Marines will be in attendance Friday night as the Gens participate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to the game to be donated to needy children in the Flint community. Friday's game will also mark the second "Pre-Holiday Shopping Night" where local businesses set up tables around the concourse and sell their products or services.
