
More Tickets Released For Blue Bombers Official Opening

WINNIPEG, MB - With just under a week until the official opening of Investors Group Field, the Winnipeg Football Club has released a limited number of tickets that will be the last available for fans wanting to ensure they don't miss out on the historic inaugural game.
"This will be the last release of tickets for the inaugural game and opening of our new stadium," said Winnipeg Football Club President and CEO, Garth Buchko. "This promises to be a great night both on and off the field and one no Blue Bomber fan will want to miss."
With the Opening Ceremonies scheduled to start at 7:30p.m., fans are encouraged to be in their seats no later than 7:15pm. Kickoff is at 8:00 pm as the Blue Bombers face off against the Montreal Alouettes.
The Opening Ceremonies which will be co-hosted by former Blue Bomber offensive lineman Chris Walby and local actress, singer, producer and director Laura Lussier.
As previously announced, half-time will feature the Juno award winning rock legend, Tom Cochrane, whose roots date back to Flin Flon, Manitoba. Phillip Ens, the operatic pride of Manitoba, will also delight fans in attendance as he will sing the national anthem, returning home for this historic event.
Every fan in attendance will be given an inaugural Investors Group Field towel as a special souvenir.
