Moran Loaned to ECHL Wichita

SOUTHAVEN, Miss - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations announced today that the team's leading goal scorer, Mike Moran, has been loaned to ECHL Wichita.

Moran, 25, recently returned to the RiverKings from ECHL Atlanta on January 20. Since his reappearence, the 6-foot-1, 200 pound forward tallied four goals for the RiverKings to maintain his team leading goal scoring status (19). The Marshfield, Mass. native was in his first year of professional hockey with the RiverKings and earned SPHL player of the week for December 12-18 in 2016. The rookie ammassed 30 points (19G,11A) in 29 games for the RiverKings this season.

Team leading goal scorer Mike Moran earns another call-up to the ECHL Wichita Thunder. The forward posted 30 points (19G,11A) for the RiverKings this season.

The RiverKings travel on the road to take on the Macon Mayhem for a 6:35 puck drop this Friday. Catch all the action at the official watch party headquarters, Old Style Bar-B-Q in Olive Branch.
