CRUNCH HIT ROAD FOR GAME SIX: The Crunch's best-of-seven first round series will continue Wednesday night (Game Six) in Rochester. Syracuse leads the series 3-2. Tickets for a potential Game Seven (Ticket D) are available by calling the Crunch's sales office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.

ROCHESTER PLAYOFF HISTORY: This years North Division Semifinals is the third time in team history the Crunch has faced Rochester in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Rochester defeated Syracuse in the prior two meetings, beating the Crunch 4-1 in the 1995-96 Western Conference Finals and 3-0 in the 1996-97 Northern Conference Quarterfinals.
ALL-TIME PLAYOFF POINTS LEADERS: 1. Lonny Bonohos â 26 points (16g, 10a), 2. Brad Moran â 25 points (12g, 13a), 3. Rick Girard â 19 points (10g, 9a), 4-T. Denny Felsner â 17 points (5g, 12a), Scott Walker â 17 points (9g, 8a), Reggie Savage â 17 points (9g, 8a).
REGULAR SEASON HEAD-TO-HEAD: Rochester won the regular season series 7-5, winning all six of their home games against Syracuse. Center Domenic Pittis (3g, 9a) paced all players in head-to-head scoring with 12 points. Right wing Tim Jackman lead the Crunch in scoring with eight points (6g, 2a). Crunch goaltender Pascal Leclaire appeared in eight games, posting a 4-3-0 record, with a 2.86 gals against average and a .924 save percentage. Rochester goaltender Ryan Miller played in 11 games against the Crunch this season with a 6-5-0 mark, a 2.00 goals against average and a .927 save percentage.
THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS:
ROCHESTER (BUFFALO SABRES): Syracuse visits Rochester on Wednesday, April 28 for Game Six of the North Division Semifinals. If necessary, Rochester will return to the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, May 1 for Game Seven. Syracuse leads the series 3-2, after Rochester defeated Syracuse 6-0 on April 25 at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Center Paul Gaustad (2g, 5a) paces all players in head-to-head scoring with seven points. Center Brad Moran (4g, 1a) leads Syracuse in head-to-head scoring with five points. Karl Goehring has appeared in four games for the Crunch, posting a 2-1-0 record, with a 3.32 goals against average and a .894 save percentage. Ryan Miller has appeared in four games for Rochester, posting a 1-3-0 record, a 2.29 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
NATIONWIDE INSURANCE COLUMBUS UPDATE: The Blue Jackets (25-45-8-4, 62 points) finished the season in fourth place in the Central Division. Columbus's Rick Nash (80gp), Calgary's Jarome Iginla (81gp) and Atlanta's Ilya Kovalchuk (81gp) finished the NHL regular season with 41 goals each. Nash was Columbus's leading scorer with 57 points (41g, 16a). Through April 13, 2004, 25 players have appeared in both a Blue Jackets and Crunch jersey (Donald MacLean, Brad Moran, Jeremy Reich, Kent McDonell, Mark Hartigan, Darrel Scoville, Joe Motzko, Tim Jackman, Mike Pandolfo, Derrick Walser, Zenith Komarniski, Aaron Johnson, David Ling, Todd Rohloff, Jamie Pushor, Anders Eriksson, Lasse Pirjeta, Sean Pronger, Greg Mauldin, Espen Knutsen, Pascal Leclaire, Andrej Nedorost, Dan Fritsche, Jean-Luc-Grand-Pierre and Fred Brathwaite).

CRUNCHABLES: Game Two was the first time in their Calder Cup Playoff history that the Crunch were shut out (45 total games)... The Crunch's 64 penalty minutes in Game Two were the most-ever for a playoff game... The combined 118 penalty minutes ranks third most in a playoff game, following 129 (May 5, 1996 @ Baltimore) and 119 (April 20, 1996 @ Binghamton)... The Crunch's 6 goal loss in Game Two and Game Five ties the mark for largest playoff defeat in club history (May 12, 1996 vs. Baltimore)... This season represents the seventh time the Crunch franchise has participated in the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Crunch has won a total of three individual series and lost six... Five Crunch defenseman have taken part in a Calder Cup final, including four (Darrel Scoville â Saint John, Derrick Walser â Saint John, Trent Cull â Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Brendan Buckley â Wilkes-Barre/Scranton) in the 2000-01 Saint John/Wilkes-Barre/Scranton finals. The other Crunch defenseman to participate in a Finals is Paul Traynor, who was a member of the 1999-00 Rochester Americans team that lost to the Hartford Wolf Pack... With an assist in Friday night's Game Four victory, Brad Moran moved into sole possession of the Crunch's all-time playoffs assist list with 13. He trails Lonny Bohonos (26 points) by one point for the all-time points lead... With 24 penalty minutes in Game Five right wing David Ling moved into third place on the Crunch's all-time playoff penalty minute list with 42. Reggie Savage is the Crunch's all-time leader with 74 followed by Chris McAllister at 61... Right wing Steven Goertzen made his professional playoff debut in Game Five.
