Mooseheads announce Fans' 15 promotion

The Halifax Mooseheads announced plans today to count down the top 15 fan favorite Mooseheads of all-time. This will be known as the Mooseheads "Fans' 15", in celebration of the team's 15th anniversary.

Fans can vote from a 30 player ballot which was developed with the help of local media and a few long-serving members of the Mooseheads family. Ballots are available on the Mooseheads website under the Fan Zone, at Antlers' Merchandise Store as well as at the Mooseheads Prize Pound during home games. Ballots were also given to all Mooseheads Season Ticket Holders along with their season tickets. The deadline for ballots to be handed in is Saturday, December 13th.

At each home game, beginning on January 3rd against Cape Breton, the Mooseheads will count down from 15 to 1, the 15 favorite Mooseheads as voted by their fans. The Mooseheads will also be drawing for some great prizes throughout the promotion.

"We are very excited about the Fans' 15 and feel it is a fun, interactive way to involve our loyal fans in a season long celebration of 15 years in Moose Country", stated Brian Urquhart, Mooseheads Manager of Sales and Marketing. "I think everyone will be excited to see who is voted in as the "Fans' 15" ".
