
Moose Trade Kuiper to Pirates

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have traded defenceman Nick Kuiper to the Portland Pirates in exchange for future considerations.
Kuiper, 26, has appeared in two games so far this season - his first with the Moose. During that time, the native of Montreal, PQ has collected two penalty minutes. Last year, in 70 games with the Norfolk Admirals, Kuiper scored two goals and seven assists for nine points and 104 penalty minutes. In 145 games over this three-year AHL career with Norfolk and Manitoba, Kuiper has scored five goals and 12 assists for 17 points and 215 penalty minutes.
