
Moose Re-Sign Rosa To AHL Contract

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have re-signed centre Marco Rosa to an American Hockey League contract.
Rosa, 28, appeared in all 80 games with the Moose during the 2009-10 season. In his debut campaign with the club, Rosa collected 55 points to sit atop the team leaderboard. He also led the club in assists (33), powerplay goals (8), shots (198), and was tied for first in goals (22). The left-handed centre skated in six Calder Cup playoff games with Manitoba where he scored three points (1g & 2a) while racking up 12 penalty minutes.
Over the span of his career, the Scarborough, ON native has played in 271 career games in the AHL with Houston, Providence, Milwaukee and Manitoba where he has accumulated 143 points (58g & 85a) and 129 penalty minutes.
Rosa was originally drafted by Dallas in the eighth round, 255th overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
