Moose Re-Sign Maxwell To AHL Contract

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have re-signed right-winger Tommy Maxwell to an American Hockey League contract.

Maxwell, 24, appeared in 67 games last season with the Moose where he collected 11 points (2g & 9a) along with a team-leading 256 penalty minutes. To date, he has played in 103 games in antlers dating back to the 2008-09 season. In that span, he has scored 16 points (3g & 13a) and collected 328 penalty minutes. Maxwell has also played in three Calder Cup Playoff games with the Moose.

In 2007-08, the Spokane, WA native played in nine games with the Hershey Bears where he collected one assist and 44 penalty minutes. In 87 career games in the ECHL with South Carolina and Phoenix, Maxwell has 25 points (10-15-25) and 324 penalty minutes.
