
Moore Named IFL Player Of The Week

The Indoor Football League (IFL) announced on Wednesday that Wichita Wild defensive back Donta Moore has been named league Defensive Player of the Week for Week 4. Moore is the first Wild player to be recognized by the IFL this season. This is also the first Player of the Week award for Moore in his two seasons with the Wild.
Moore was all over the field Saturday, wrapping up Colorado Ice ball carriers all game long. He accounted for 11.5 tackles (8 solo, 7 assisted) including 1 tackle for loss. The Wild held the Ice to 65 total yards of offensive in the first half and defeated the Ice by a score of 54-40.
Moore is currently tied for 3rd in the IFL in tackles with 22.5. Last season, Moore started all 17 games and finished 4th on the team with 55.5 tackles. Other players recognized this week were Brad Iciek of Western Michigan as Offensive Player of the Week and Antwan Harris of Fairbanks as Special Teams Player of the Week.
