December 3, 2010 - Montreal, Quebec -Montreal won 4-1 over Shawinigan Friday evening at the Verdun Auditorium with three unanswered goals in the third period.
Montreal was lead by David Rose and Charles Landry who had a goal and two assists each during the contest. Other Montreal goals came from Louis-Marc Aubry and Louis Leblanc, who was making his return from a recent injury. Shawinigan's lone goal came in the first period off the stick of Benjamin Casavant. Montreal's three goals in the third period all came on the man advantage.
JF Berube turned aside 20 of the 21 shots he faced while his counterpart from Shawinigan, Gabriel Girard, stopped 31 of the 35 shots fired upon him by the Juniors.
NOTES: Montreal travels to Lewiston for another road game on Sunday, before returning for a day game aimed at schools on Wednesday and then games at the Verdun Auditorium on Friday and Sunday.
